Our Community
The Burkittsville Ruritan Club is proud to serve a community located in rural Western Maryland along the Blue Ridge Mountains. Burkittsville, a town of approx. 175 residents is situated in southwestern Frederick County, surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland, much of which is protected from development through conservation. Many local families have worked for generations to build, improve, and maintain our community heritage, of which Burkittsville Ruritan Club is a significant part.
